KeyBridge Technologies, Inc. on Winning Team for Five-year Award with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)

July 14, 2006 (Vienna, VA) - KeyBridge Technologies, Inc. is part of a winning team for the Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) award for Geotechnical Training. As part of the Collins Engineers, Inc. team, KeyBridge responsibilities will be to provide distance learning solutions in conjunction with Collins for training courses focusing on Highway Structures. The award is a five year contract. FHWA specifically asked engineering firms to partner with custom training firms to provide future training for the agency.

“I was pleased that the FHWA chose to request the teaming of two areas of expertise – training development and engineering subject matter – to bring best practices together for their solution,” said Simon Hsu, President of KeyBridge Technologies, Inc. In the past, training companies were required to bring in subject matter engineering expertise to participate in the course development process once a task order was requested. Now, both disciplines, working together, are ready to start projects as soon as task orders are requested. Not only will projects be able to start faster, but the end solutions will benefit from two areas of expertise.
