KeyBridge Facilitates FEMA FIRST Conference

June 1 , 2006 - KeyBridge Technologies Inc. recently supported the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA’s) Operations Branch in hosting a conference for state FIRST Responders in Baltimore, Maryland.  During the two day session, attendees had an opportunity to learn about the changes and plans in FEMA to deal with the upcoming hurricane season.

In preparation for the event, KeyBridge provided an online tool for registration and worked directly with the hotel to ensure that each attendee was registered and made to feel welcome. All aspects of the conference including audiovisual requirements, food and beverage, and meeting space requirements were handled by the KeyBridge staff. KeyBridge also produced the attendee packets that included the meeting agenda, badges, handouts, and a tourist guide to Baltimore.

“It was a great success, met and exceeded my objectives, and was quite a good start for FIRST,” said Mr. Bill Lokey, FEMA’s Operations Branch Chief Response Division.
